Four rules that protect students
Your account, private data, logins, and who to tell when something is wrong.
Transcript
Lesson twelve, the last one. It covers four rules. Each one protects your students.
Use your teacher account only for your work with your class. Keep students' data private. Never pass a login on. And report anything that is wrong.
Students' names, logins, grades and results are private. Talk about a student's results only with that student, their parents, and your school. Never share a screenshot that shows students' names or grades.
In your report, use first names or initials only, as in lesson eleven.
Give a student's login only to that student, in person. Never post it in a chat or an announcement. And never share your own login, not even with a colleague.
If you see a rule broken, for example a student using someone else's login, write to support straight away. Say what you saw and when.
If something stops your students from learning, like a whole class that cannot get in, do not wait for your report. Tell your coordinator straight away, then add it to your next report.
That is the whole course. Get your students started, help them learn, check the platform each week, report every two weeks, and follow these rules.
You are done when you know the four rules and who to tell when one is broken. Thank you for helping your students.
