Your class on one screen

How to read the class dashboard and see who needs your help.

Transcript

Lesson five. You will open your class dashboard and see, in two minutes, who is doing well and who needs your help.

On your home page, Grade In Progress shows your whole class in three zones: Below Mastery, from zero to sixty-five percent, At Risk, from sixty-six to seventy-four, and Above Mastery, from seventy-five up.

To see the names, open Manage Classes and press Performance on your class row. The dashboard opens in a new tab.

Every student gets one block: the name on top, and one row for the course.

Read the row from left to right: how much of the course is done, the pretest score, the activities and the last login, then the current grade and the final grade.

In the activities column, green counts completed activities, red counts activities not mastered yet, and grey counts what is left.

Now scroll through the class and look for four signs: a last login more than a week ago, almost nothing done, red activities, and a current grade under sixty-six.

Here, Timur has four activities not mastered and a grade of fifty-four. Ilya last logged in three weeks ago. Mina has never logged in.

Write down the names that need you this week. In the next lesson, you will find out what is going on with each of them.

You are done when you can open your class dashboard and name the students who need help this week. If something looks wrong, write to the support address under this video.

This is an independent guide made by GSED for its teachers. It is not made by, or affiliated with, the company behind the teacher platform.
