Lesson eleven. Every two weeks, you will write a short report about your class. It takes about ten minutes.
The report shows what your students struggled with and how you helped. It is how problems reach the people who can solve them.
Download the form under this video. It has six short sections, and you already have most of the answers from your weekly checks.
First, the class at a glance: how many students are on track, behind, stuck, or not started. Take the numbers from your class dashboard.
Then the students who needed help, one line each: the problem, what you did, and the result so far.
Use first names or initials only. Never write a full name, a username or a password.
Next, technical problems: what broke, who you told, and whether it is fixed. Then what students found hard, and what they told you.
Write which parents you contacted and why, only if you did. Last, what you need: questions, or help you are asking for.
Write to a parent when talking to the student has not helped. Lesson seven shows how to send a parent a copy.
Send the report by email, or give it to your school's representative.
You are done when you can fill in the form in about ten minutes, and you know where to send it.
